I’m Not Gay – Daniel Radcliffe

I’m not gay! So said the super Gay Friendly Daniel ‘Harry Potter’  Radcliffe !  Yet again the young super star has dismissed suggestions and rumors that he bats for our team,  speaking on MTV  he said, “If People want to say that,   they can.  But I’m not,  I’m Straight”

The young actor shot to fame as the boy wizard in the Potter movies has long been a support of gay rights,  fought for equality and helped countless gay charities and concerns.  Both here in England and the States.

He confounded critics, stunned fans and stuck two fingers up at the establishment  when he controversially starred in the deep and dark play Equus in 2007.       I was lucky and had stage seats for the show in London’s West End and was mesmerized by the depth,  intuitive and honesty of his performance.

The unique position of stage seating at that production meant that I was just above the action at the back of the stage and at times, literally just inches from the performers.   OK,  yes the play has a little bit of nudity in it,  and yes,  you could say I saw Harry’s wand,  but such was the power of his performance,  the nudity wasn’t a big thing,  fitted in with the story and seemed natural.   I was then and am still,  impressed –  and before you star making your own conclusions, let me add,  by his acting ability!
