Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton has had a Twitter showdown with trash icon Tila Tequila, girlfriend of recently deceased LA socialite Casey Johnson. Perez accused Tequila of cashing in on Johnson’s death, and treating her grief as a publicity opportunity.

Johnson and Tequila became engaged early last month, but their relationship was short lived, with Johnson passing away earlier this week. Since Johnson’s death Tequila has constantly been tweeting about her grief, which has led to accusations that her feelings are less than genuine. Her tweets have included:

“I can’t stop these haunting visions of her and I. We made such a lovely couple, only beginning to spend the rest of our lives together…”

“I miss her so much. Can’t stop crying. Haven’t slept for days….My entire house is filled with her stuff. Im in bed without her here…”

“All of her doggies are still at my house. Friends & family just came by and we appreciate everyones support during this heartbreaking time.”

“I had a strange dream about her earlier as I was dozing in and out of sleep. I wonder if that was really her coming back to say goodbye? =(“

Perez’s row with the Singapore-born singer, model and reality TV personality, kicked off early this morning and got quite ugly. The transcript is as follows:
