Axel Hotel Barcelona has been recently awarded as one of the trendiest hotel of Spain by the prestigious Travellers' Choice Hotels, awarded by Tripadvisor.

In the last edition of FITUR, the tenth edition of the awards Travellers' Choice Hotels was presented, which are awarded by the renowned world travellers website, Tripadvisor. These awards recognize annually to the best hotels in the world, Europe and Spain in different categories: best service, luxury, and relationship quality/price, modern and Trendy, Spa & Relax, All inclusive, hostel/pension and Top 25 Spain. 

In this way, the Axel Hotel Barcelona was awarded as one of the most modern hotels at the national level, ranked 14 of Top 25. This is due to the impressive architecture of its modernist building, which together with a carefully designed interior and avant-garde, they form a perfect combination and create a very up-to-date space, full of style.

The awards Travellers´ Choice Hotels, unlike other similar awards in the sector, are based on own actual experiences of millions of travelers from around the world have stayed in these establishments. The winners are established on the basis of a combination of comments with regard to destinations, their favorite places and overall popularity of establishments at Tripadvisor.

In this last edition, the awards Travellers´ Choice Hotels 2012 have awarded a total of 3.946 establishments in 38 countries and regions. In recognition of the hotel quality of our country, 148 Spanish hotels have been awarded with 193 Awards, 23 of them at the global or European level.

Also, within Spain, the autonomous communities with the highest concentration of award-winning hotels have been Andalusia, Catalonia, the Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands.
