Wwooww, You're in the army, nooow!

The Army has joined forces with leading gay rights group Stonewall to promote tolerance within its ranks. Head of the British Army General Sir Richard Dannatt said discrimination prevented the full contribution that is “vital for our success in operations”. Stonewall said it had yet to set up an action plan, but that it would initially focus on recruitment and retention of military personnel. Beware of the French kiss attack!

At 4PM when the whistle blows everybody kiss!

Why must we wait for Mardi Gras or to be on Oxford Street to kiss our lover in the street?

Why does our first love kiss not occur freely in a restaurant or on a public bench like straight people?

Are you fed up with walking with your partner in the street just like two plain friends?

Join us on the 12th of December to show everyone that homosexuality is not a sexuality matter, but first a love matter.

This is the fourth edition of the “Kiss in” event, first held in France and now Internationally. On the 12th of December, Canada, Switzerland and Belgium will also join in. Let’s show that Sydney is also up to fighting homophobia, let’s kiss each other in the streets to show that homosexuality is simply Love.

This event isn’t organised by any association, action group or political party and is a bit like a flash mob but with claim and purpose.

It will be held on the 12th of December 4pm and everybody is welcome regardless of his or her sexuality. The meeting place will be decided in a few days. It will probably held at “Martin Place”.

The fun pool party kicked off on Sunday, Nov 8, as the temperature started to heat up thanks to the new season!

With four cabins to shower before the swim, or sunbathe on comfortable loungers around the pool, parties are encouraged to hand the fun of guest DJs that come with the best dance music of the moment. Argentina, oficially gayfriendly

Lawmakers are currently working towards making Argentina the first Latin American country to legalize same-sex marriage. They would become the second country after Canada in the Americas to end marriage discrimination.

A growing number of supporters in Argentine Congress began the debate last Thursday on whether or not to change the law that defines marriage as a union between a man and a woman.

If course, and in the U.S., the major opposition comes from Catholic and evangelical Christian groups, who are accusing the government of attempting to destroy marriage and the family as an institution.

Of the 40 million people living in the country, most are Catholic and the church has had a great influence over politics. Until 1994, it was a prerequisite that the president and vice president had to be married and members of the Catholic Church.

In 2002, the nations capital, Buenos Aires, legalized civil unions for LGBT couples, and four other cities followed the lead.

Uruguay is currently the only Latin American country to recognize gay unions.
