We like islands, and this is our third island hotel. But it isn't just any island. This is Mykonos, home to mythology and unbridled desire.
They say that when the gods were battling against the giants, the giants fell to earth on the island of Mykonos and were turned to stone. According to legend, the large boulders scattered across the island are said to be petrified giants.
Against this backdrop is Axel Beach Mykonos, a small Mediterranean oasis designed for relaxing in the sun. On the outside, the pure white of the polished, minimalist architecture that is so typical of the island. On the inside, contrast, color, and space to be yourself. Disconnect and dive in to whatever comes next.
The hotel is just a few steps away from the maze-like streets of the city center, where you will find the exciting atmosphere the city is known for. Nearby, you’ll find Ornos Beach and Platys Gialos, and a few minutes more by car are the LGBTQIA+ beaches of Elia Beach and Super Paradise Beach. Oh my gods! The Skybar pool is the epicenter of fun at Axel Beach Mykonos. A place where there’s no rush, where day and night meld together without rules. Between Greek sculptures in swim trunks, drag queens lip-synching on the water, and DJs throwing down beats like Zeus’ lightning bolts, the only sin here is to hold yourself back.
