Yes, we opened an Axel hotel in a seaside destination, but we built it looking at the mountains. We put a swimming pool on the rooftop, even though the weather is not hot for most of the year. Coherence is overrated. Passion is much more interesting.
Passion is a fire that burns inside us, an irresistible impulse that leads us to transcend normal limits. Passion is what makes us vibrate. It can be a person, an idea or a place. It can be the breeze on the promenade, the iron of the barges, or the way the waves hit the rocks.

You will find the building very close to the old town. It is a short walk from the beach and the best restaurants and pintxos of San Sebastián. The city took its name from a Roman soldier who is a symbol of struggle for all queer people.
